LARGE SCALE RACING TRUCKS AND BUGGIES (1:5)

The 1:5 scale is the largest scale you will find in the remote control world!  You’ll also find these are the louder and bigger than all the others.  These models are predominantly powered by large 2 stroke motors and come mainly in the form of two wheel drive buggies and four wheel drive stadium trucks.

There are two popular clubs within Victoria in Geelong and Hallam that offer purpose built race tracks for these beasts.  The Remote Control Racing Association of Australia conduct organised annual state and national title events.

They’ll be at the show all weekend, so come and see some racing and of course some crashes & spills.  Speak to the exhibitors for general advice around purchasing & maintaining these types of models.
